Departments
The day to day operation of the City of Waynesville are handled through a number of departments, listed below. For more information on any department, follow the link.

Billing Department
The Billing Department personnel read the meters, feed the computers, send out the bills, and post the payments. This is the first department most newcomers deal with, as they make arrangements to have the utilities turned on. Electric Department
The Electric Department is responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of the electrical distribution system of the City. Gary Wann is the Electric Department superintendent, and can be reached at (573) 774-6823.

For utility emergencies during work hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday) please call 774-5217.  After hours or on weekends and holidays please report utility emergencies/outages to 774-6341.

Police Department
The Police Department is responsible for the enforcement of all municipal ordinances within the City, and elsewhere as allowed by State statute. Bob Carter is the Chief of Police. The non-emergency telephone number for the Police Department is (573) 774-2414. For emergencies call 911.

Parks Department
The Parks Department, supervised by Randy Brown, takes care of two major parks, one recreational vehicle park, and one neighborhood park. The main City Park contains a water spray park, ball fields, pavilions, climbing equipment, and recreational areas running along the Roubidoux Creek.
