Officials

The City of Waynesville is set up with a mayor and eight council members serving four wards.  The mayor is elected for four years, and council members are elected for two years.  Each year the Council elects one of its members to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem, to act on behalf of the mayor in his or her absence.  The City Council meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
