Recyclable trash will be picked up every other Thursday for East Waynesville (east of H HWY) and every other Friday for west Waynesville.  See the Calendar for specific dates.

The City will issue you five plastic bags which can be picked up in the Utility Office at City Hall. The truck will empty your bags and leave them in a convenient area.

How to separate recyclables:

2) Plastic • All materials must be washed out and all lids/directional spouts are to be removed. Labels do not have to be removed. Check containers for the recycling symbol which are usually found on the bottom of containers.

3) Glass • Green, brown and clear mixed. All materials must be washed out and lids removed. Labels do not have to be removed.

5) Aluminum • All aluminum cans. Aluminum and tin cans may be put in the same bag.
