Kylee Powers of the Waynesville-St. Robert Animal Shelter has successfully completed the prestigious Leadership Pulaski County program, a dynamic seven-month leadership development experience held from August 2025 through February 2026 in Pulaski County, Missouri. Powers was honored alongside fellow graduates at a celebratory graduation dinner on February 26, 2026, recognizing their dedication to personal growth, community engagement, and leadership excellence.
Leadership Pulaski County, a flagship professional development initiative of the LPC Alumni Foundation in partnership with the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce, is designed to inspire, equip, and connect emerging and established leaders throughout the region. The program focuses on cultivating informed, engaged individuals who are passionate about shaping the future of Pulaski County.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in immersive, full-day monthly sessions that explored the many facets of leadership across the community. From business and government to military and nonprofit sectors, the experience offered invaluable insight into the systems and partnerships that drive local progress. Participants not only expanded their knowledge of Pulaski County but also strengthened their leadership skills and built lasting connections with fellow community leaders.
