⚠️ CAUTION – ROUBIDOUX SPRING AREA ⚠️

The fencing surrounding the Roubidoux Spring wall sustained severe damage following a vehicular hit-and-run accident. City crews will be working throughout the day to complete repairs to the safety fencing.

During repairs, the bridge area near the spring wall will remain closed to protect citizens from falling debris.

Motorists are asked to use extreme caution while traveling along Superior Road and to slow down in the area while crews are working to avoid additional accidents or injuries.

If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact the City of Waynesville Police Department.

Emergency Road Closure Notice

Waynesville, MO — May 4th, 2026

Due to an emergency situation, a portion of the roadway is currently closed to all traffic. The closure extends from H Highway to Spruce Road as emergency response teams work to manage and clear an accident in the area.

Motorists are strongly advised to avoid this area and seek alternate routes to ensure the safety of both drivers and first responders.

The road will remain closed until further notice while crews complete their work and the scene is cleared.
