Notice of Public Hearing
This public hearing will be held in compliance with the provisions of Section 67.110 RSMo, and for the purpose of receiving comments from the citizens of Waynesville, Missouri, concerning the ad valorem property tax rates to be established for the City of Waynesville, for the current taxable year. The proposed tax rate will decrease - with the 2024 rate at $0.6306 and the proposed 2025 rate at $0.5864.

Stretching through Pulaski, Laclede, and Webster counties, this two-day event showcases over 100 yard sales along the historic Mother Road. It's a perfect opportunity to explore treasures, enjoy the nostalgia of Route 66, and support our local communities.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT - BRIDGE CLOSING:
Monday, August 4, 2025, Tiger Pride Bridge on G.W. Lane in Waynesville will be temporarily closed from approximately 8 a.m. to noon due to bridge maintenance by MoDOT. (This is the bridge closest to Kum & Go). Please use Old Hwy H if you need to access GW Lane and refer to the following map.


City of Waynesville Online Payment System Temporarily Unavailable
Waynesville, July 28th, 2025 β The City of Waynesville is notifying residents that the online payment system is currently down due to issues with our third-party payment software provider. This outage is beyond the Cityβs control, and we are actively working with the provider to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, we are encouraging residents to utilize the following alternative payment options:
Set up Autopay: Call our office at 573-774-5217 or stop by City Hall to enroll in our free ACH autopay.
Pay by Phone: Call our office at 573-774-5217 to make a payment over the phone.
Pay In Person: Visit City Hall to make a payment.
Night Drop Box: For after-hours convenience, payments can be dropped off in the secure night drop box located at City Hall.
City Hall is located at 100 Tremont Center, Waynesville, MO;
Office Hours are Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm
We appreciate the publicβs patience and understanding as we work to restore online payment services. Updates will be provided on the Cityβs website and social media pages as they become available.







Due to family emergencies and other obligations the July meeting of the Waynesville City Council has been cancelled due to lack of a quorum.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be August 21st, 2025 at 5:30pm.
